This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–9 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (714) 547-0995. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 238 reviews, which is a strong result for a korean restaurant in Santa Ana and suggests consistent service.

Santa Ana is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Ana follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Best Smash burger I’ve had in the OC. Quality ingredients, great flavors and the fries are delicious as well. Everything is super fresh. Great lil hidden spot definitely coming back!

All other smashburger spots can sit down. Lunch Bang has perfected the crispy edges that every smashburger should have and it hits the craving spot in all other areas too. Simple toppings. Soft bun that doesn’t take away from the star of the show, the patty. The fries are hand-cut and greasy in the best way possible with crispiness that’s very stratifying. Don’t go anywhere else for a smashburger.

Perfect! Sampler outfit and the focus is purely on the food. We decided not yo share the smashburger which was a good decision. They are not huge but make up with lots of flavor inside a simple bun. Yum. Fries are equally tasty, have them extra crispy and then they are worth every bite. Simple menu like In-N-Out but these burgers are so much better. Service, efficient, helpful, quick but no fluff. Lastly, as mentioned, the place is super simple which is actually a great feature for the area... refreshing in Orange County. Plenty of room to sit but I'd advise to come early to avoid the lunch crowds. 10/10.

Lunch Bang is hands down one of the best burger spots I’ve ever been to. If you know, you know. And if you don’t β€” you’re probably driving right past it without realizing you just missed something special. Their smash burgers are next level. Perfectly seared with that crispy edge, insanely juicy in the center, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can taste the quality immediately. No shortcuts, no gimmicks β€” just done right. And the fries? Fresh cut, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and salted perfectly. Not too much, not too little β€” just that ideal balance that keeps you reaching back into the bag. It’s a true hole-in-the-wall gem. The kind of place you’d never find unless someone put you on. But once you try it, you’ll be hooked. Simple menu. Big flavor. Zero disappointment.

First time trying Lunch Bang, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the OK Burger Double, and it was awesome thin crunchy patty but very flavorful. The grilled onions are absolute fire and add the perfect touch of sweetness and flavor. The fries are fresh and hand-cut, which makes a huge difference. You can tell they put care into the food here. The spot itself is tucked away in an industrial strip mall, and yeah, the restaurant could use a little better upkeep but don’t let that fool you. The food completely makes up for it. If you’re in Santa Ana and want a legit burger that hits the spot, give Lunch Bang a try. You’ll be glad you did.
